He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Lee Glass and Bridie Petty Glass; his wife Leona Waller Glass; and his siblings, Gladys Glass Callands, Lloyd Glass, Charlie Glass, Florence Glass Fitzgerald and Carter Glass.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Kaye Garner (Dabble) of Charlotte, NC, Jennifer Raye Campbell (Ricky) of Gastonia, NC, Avis Lynn Burs (Daniel) of Danville, VA and Dr. Wendy Lee Ford (Glenn) of Malverne, NY. He is also survived by four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a host of dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
