He was predeceased by: his parents, David Vaden Adams, Jr. and Minnie Berger Adams; and his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Anna Lee Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Martha Perkins Adams of Gretna; his sons, David V. Adams IV (Allison) of Gretna and Charles Perkins Adams (B. J.) of Gretna; his brothers, Lynn Adams (Lee), Mark Adams and Ralph Adams (Kelly) of Danville; his aunt Susan Dinkle (Chuck); and his grandsons, Alan Adams, Brandon Adams (Sabrina), Kaleb Hackett, Casey Hackett, Evan Adams and Alex Adams.
