It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Dawson Hamlett of Gretna, Virginia, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Dawson and Velma Trent Dawson; her husband Harold Barnard Hamlett; and her brother Braxton Dawson. She is survived by: her daughter Kim Hamlett-Berry (David Berry) of Washington, D. C.; her siblings, Clarence Dawson (Gloria) of Hurt and Dolly Tolson of Fairfax; and her granddaughter India Elizabeth Berry.
The family requires that everyone attending the service to wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Anderson Memorial United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 207, Gretna, VA 24557.
