He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Thomas Rowland and Clara Dove Rowland. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Anderson Rowland; his sons, Michael Rowland (Kathy) of Chatham and Steven Rowland (Yan Zhu) of Stafford; his brother Darrell Rowland of Falls Church; his grandchildren, Michael Rowland, Elizabeth Rowland and Mingchi Fan; and his great grandchild Noah Jaimes.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Greenfield Baptist Church, P.O. Box 875, Gretna, VA 24557.
