She was predeceased by: her parents, Berkley Ollie Meadows and Rena Shelton Meadows; her daughter Kathy Moss Francis; her husband Ramsey Shelton; her siblings, Evelyn Walters and Ramsey Meadows; and her grandson Joshua Shelton.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Shelton (Rhonda) of Hurt, Jay Shelton of Gretna and Cheryl Conner of Gretna; and her sister Barbara Amos of Gretna. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.
