She was predeceased by: her father Joe Wise Edwards. She is survived by: her mother Christine Witcher Edwards of Sandy Level, VA; her spouse Laurence "Larry" Ballard; her sister Gloria Jean Edwards of Washington, DC; her aunts, Lucy O'Neal, Fannie Martin, Alma Edwards and Gloria H. Edwards; her cousins, Delcie Allen, Jacqueline Willis, Jimmie Edwards, Charles Edwards, III, Darlene Rogers and LaToya Willis-Scales; and her close friends, Marsha Gilchrist and James Gilchrist. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
