It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Lewis Kyser Jr. of Gretna, Virginia, born in Orange, Virginia, who passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lewis Kyser, Sr. and Geneva Sparks; his siblings, James Kyser, Ray Kyser and Barbara Ann Gibson; his stepmother Mary Lou Berry; and his son-in-law Winfred S. Palmore.
He is survived by: his wife Peggie Denby Kyser; his daughter Starr Palmore of Gretna; his brothers, Danny Kyser (Diane) of Charlottesville and Dale Kyser (Lois) of Charlottesville; his grandchildren, Michelle McDonald (Brian), Jonathan Kyser (Andrea), Emily Kyser and Joy Kyser; and his great grandchildren, Amber Roberts and Taylor Morris. He is also survived by five great-great-grandchildren.
