He was predeceased by: his parent Sam Alvin Carroll; and his stepson Michael Blalock. He is survived by: his parent Sleetie Sanford Carroll Cobb; his spouse April Worley Blalock Carroll; his son Keith Alan Carroll of Ringgold; his stepchildren, Randy Blalock, Katherine Booth and Pamela Lewis; his sister Virginia Payne of Woolwine; his grandchildren, James Alan Carroll and Emily Dawn Carroll; and his daughter Pamela Frances Carroll. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Blairs Fire & Rescue, Danville Life Saving Crew or Ringgold Fire and Rescue.
