William Alfred Tucker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Alfred Tucker formerly of Greenville, Virginia, born in Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee of Greenville and Retha Bell Tucker (Bell) of Greenville; his son Derwin Tucker; and his siblings, Robert Lee Tucker, Jr. and Virginia Tucker Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Hemby Tucker of Greenville, NC.; his children, Shelton Tucker, Demetria Tucker, Cynthia Tucker and Marcia Tucker Johnson (Joseph, Jr.); his grandchildren, Brandon Tucker, Jasminn Johnson, Joseph Johnson, III, Jordan Tucker and Kamryn Tucker; his great grandchild Jeremiah Johnson; and his brothers, Carlton Bruce Tucker of Tacoma, WA and Willie James Tucker of Tacoma, WA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
