He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Benton McManaway; and his granddaughter Kierra Bottenfield. He is survived by: his mother Arlene McManaway (Wimer); his wife Brenda McManaway (Fitzgerald); his children, Brandon McManaway, Trevor McManaway (Autumn Powell), Ronda Bottenfield (Boyd), Rick McManaway (Patty), Keeley Bedford and Noel McManaway; his brother Ben McManaway (Brenda Dice); his grandchildren, Danielle Napier, James Coiner, Arkadia Bottenfield, Jordan McManaway, Tyler McManaway (Hannah), Aeden McManaway and Daniel McManaway; his great grandchildren, Bentley Napier, Bryce Napier and Beckett McManaway; his siblings-in-law, Pete Fitzgerald (Faye) and Sheila Harris; and his friend Ronda Bottenfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
