He is survived by: his parent Madeline Almarode (Hewitt); his spouse Denise Thelma Lou Marshall; his son Cody Almarode (Brittney) of Mint Spring; his stepchildren, Anne Owen of Richmond, Michael Owen (Sonya) of Richmond and Jonathan Owen (Christi) of Richmond; his siblings, Tom Almarode (Connie) of Stuarts Draft, Karen Maddox (Neil) of Harrisonburg, Mike Almarode of Greenville, Scott Almarode of Staunton and Kevin Almarode (Marsha) of Barren Ridge; his brothers-in-law, Bruce Marshall (Paige) of Oakridge, TN and Allen Marshall (Candayce) of Chester, VA; and his friend Verick Wiles of Mint Spring. He is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews.
