He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Thomas and Juanita Marie Patterson (Buchanan); his son Eugene Thomas Patterson; his son-in-law Robert Bruce Campbell; and his brothers, Charles, Paul and Harry Patterson.
He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Patterson Campbell; his sisters, Katherine Huffman and Frances Fultz; his brother-in-law Junior Myers; his granddaughter Brittany Fisher (Harlan Roach); his great grandchild Payton Snell; and his close friends, Julie Leatherbury and Junior Brown.
