She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Risley and Betty Risley; and her siblings, Walter Klapp, Allen Klapp, Charles Klapp, Howard Klapp, Bruce Klapp, Evelyn Klapp and Ellen B. Collins Bloxom.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Harris Bloxom; her husband Dick Matthews; her children, Richard Phillip Matthews of Salisbury, MD, Jeff Matthews (Cindy) of Pocomoke, MD and Judie Abbott (Jerry) of Georgetown, DE; and her grandchildren, Brittany Matthews and Phillip Matthews. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
