In the vast expanse of eternity, Karen Oliver shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Karen Oliver farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Oliver and Peggy Sue Oliver; and her husband James Linwood Lowry. She is survived by: her daughter Crystal Hallinen (Andrew); her grandchildren, Caitlyn Hallinen and Aiden Hallinen; and her siblings, Melynda Dean (Mark), Elaine Oliver (Anna Neuman) and Michael Oliver (Sherri). She is also survived by her daughter's best friends as well as her mom.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hamner-McMillian Funeral Home (1400 S Main St, Blackstone, VA 23824). A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Butterwood Cemetery (2411 Darvills Rd, Blackstone, VA 23824).
