He was predeceased by: his daughter Samanthia Roach; and his parents, Louise Roach and Henry Lee Roach. He is survived by: his children, Richard E. Roach (Kimberly) of Brooksville and Rebecca Bruce of Keysville, VA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
