It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Eyres of Great Falls, Virginia, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Henry (Mabel Patchett); and her aunts, Gladys, Joyce and Beryl Patchett of Harrogate, England.. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Eyres (Emily) of Bethesda and Louise Hicks (Kevin) of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Cassidy, Payton Eyres of Bethesda, Jackson, Gareth and Waller Hicks of Wilmington; her sister Jean Lyden (Don); her aunt Barbara Patchett; her sister-in-law Anne Spandley (Malcolm); her nephews, Richard Leaver and Robert Spandley; her niece Emma Spandley of England; and her pet Charlie.
