James H. Gum Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Gum of Goshen, Virginia, born in Cass, West Virginia, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Gum and Mary Gum (Lyle); his sons, Timothy Gum and James Gum; and his siblings, Clyde Gum, Ethel Hiner and Ruth Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Garnett Gum (Smith); his children, Pamela Knutson (Brent) of St. Maries, Clarence Gum (Cindy) of Beaverdam, Calvin Gum (Libby) of Lexington, Ivan Gum (Lisa) of Bergton and Carlos Gum of Fisheresville; and his sister-in-law Pearl Gum (W. Va) of Dawson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
