She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Shoemaker and Blanche Shoemaker; her husband Arnold W. Spaid, Sr.; and her siblings, Pauline Shoemaker Loy, Hyla Shoemaker Clowser, Cecil, Garland, James and Gary Shoemaker.
She is survived by: her children, Delinia "Dee Dee" McDonald of Stephens City, VA, A. Wendell Spaid, Jr. (Barbara Allen) of Romney, WV and W. Keith Spaid of Winchester, VA; her grandchildren, Justin McDonald, Brandon Spaid, Ainsley Spaid, Samantha Spaid and Bryan Spaid; her great grandchildren, Brailey, Bryson, Bristol Spaid, Macie Spaid, Kenadee and Oaklee Haines; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Megan, Nevaeh and Kylee Miller.
