She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bell Sr. and Myrtie Riner; her former husband John Hobson Kennon; and her husband Elmer Linwood Turner. She is survived by: her children, Nora Kennon Winkey (James) and Leo Kennon (Reta); her stepchildren, Gladys Haney, Margie Sacre, Lucille Milici, Charles Turner and James Turner; her grandchildren, Wade Kennon, Aaron Kennon, Ellie Geldart and Joel Kennon; and her niece Peggy Bager. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (10115 Spotswood Trail, Gordonsville, VA 22942).
