He is survived by: his wife Thelma Hoffman Smith; his daughter Beverly S. Martyn (Mike) of Gordonsville; his siblings, Charles W. Smith (Karen), Richard L. Smith (Wanda) and Linda Smith Ferguson (Bob) of Orange; his grandchildren, Jennifer M. Reynolds (Josef) of Palmyra and Brandon M. Martyn of Gordonsville; his great grandchildren, Destiny N. Reynolds and Skylar M. Martyn; and also, Beverly Martyn, Brandon Martyn and Debbie Hoffman.
