It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gene Bond of Gordonsville, Virginia, born in Benham, Kentucky, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde McDonald Bond and Mildred Bernice Hill Bond; and his son Mark Lee Bond. He is survived by: his wife Lois Williams Bond of Gordonsville; his son Carl Bond; his siblings, Jane Root of Virginia Beach and C. H. Bond (Rebecca) of Christiansburg; his grandchildren, Kelce Bond, Shea Bond, Joshua Sipe, Clay Spitzer, Jordann Sipe, Sarah Lively, Rebekah Lively, Hannah Lively and Morgan Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Tristan Spitzer and Norah Spitzer. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
