He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Strong and Olda A. Fitzhugh; his stepfather Henry Fitzhugh; and his brother James Arthur Strong III. He is survived by: his wife Carol Faulconer; his stepson Julius A. Coppa III; and his nieces, Susan D. Strong (Noah F. Leiden) and Karen L. Strong (Ramil B. Ibanez). He is also survived by his great niece and five great nephews.
