We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2022, at the age of 91, Jean Loyd Mahanes of Gordonsville, Virginia, born in Somerset, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Eugene Loyd and Irene Kennedy Loyd; her husband Howard Arthur "Buddy" Mahanes; and her brother Allen Eugene Loyd, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Suzanne Moubray (Mike) of Gordonsville and Nancy Lawler (Stuart) of Forest; her grandchildren, Christopher Moubray of Gordonsville, Neal Moubray of Gordonsville, Katie Clark (Matt) of Forest and Meredith Lawler of Forest; and her great grandchildren, Grace Moubray of Stanardsville, Owen Clark and Cole Clark of Forest.
