He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Herring. He is survived by: his wife Lois Rebecca Wood; his daughters, Tammy Lynn Noel (Dennis) of Gordonsville, DeLois Rae Wood of Gordonsville, Tina Marie Smith of Charlottesville and Angela Renee Sims of Charlottesville; and his siblings, Warren Herring of Cobham, Sylvester Herring, Jr. (Carol) of Charlottesville, Debra Mills of Charlottesville and Linda Wood (Mike) of Zion Crossroads. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
