It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Jean Campbell of Gordonsville, Virginia, born in Six Mile, South Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harrison Whitlock, Jr. and Flora Lanora Aiken; her husband Roy Edgar Campbell; and her siblings, Robert Kenneth Whitlock, Bobby Winford Whitlock, Troy Whitlock, Mary Chambers, Ella Rae Elrod, Sue Stiens and Elizabeth Etrilla Lindsay.
She is survived by: her children, Joel Leslie Mills of Gordonsville, Mark Edward Mills of Culpeper, Peggy S. Mills of Kearnysville, WV and Lynn Mills Carroll of Salmon, Idaho; and her stepson Albert Campbell of Bumpass. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
