He was predeceased by: his parents, George N. Allman and Virginia Rowe Allman; and his brother George N. Allman Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Hunter L. W. Allman Jr. (Marietta) and Jennifer Allman Carter (Chris); and his sister Margaret Ann Foreman. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
