He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kay Brown Walker; his daughters, Terena Hale (Mark) of Vinton, VA and Kelly Smith of Gordonsville; his grandchildren, Haley Smith (Sean Maunz) of Richmond, Christopher Walker Smith of Goldsboro, NC, Macon of Vinton, Matthew of Vinton and Nicholas Hale of Vinton; and his sister-in-law Betty Walker of Woodstock.
