He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Rabbitt, Sr. and Effie Alice Clark Rabbitt; his wife Barbara Farmer Rabbitt; his stepmother Mildred Sargent Rabbitt; his brother James T. Rabbitt, Jr.; his stepsister Linda Buarque; his stepsons, Michael Bishop and David Bishop; and his grandson David Wills.
He is survived by: his sister Sallie Mallick; his daughters, Karen Rabbitt and Paula Clark; his stepdaughters, Cindy Wills (Buddy) and Allison Capps (John); his daughter-in-law Sara Bishop; and his grandchildren, Emily Young, Lauren Campbell, Dylan Wills, Ryan Bishop, Christian Clark, Cameron Clark, Chase Clark, Kayla Seewald, Zoey Capps and Amanda Capps. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
