He was predeceased by: his stepmother Susan Angela Hanner of Gordonsville; and his stepgrandparents, Brian Ralph and Frankie June Hall of Orange, Virginia.. He is survived by: his parents, Trip Hanner of Gordonsville and Patti Lucas of Luray, Virginia.; his brothers, Corey Allen Hanner, Alan Brian Thomson and Charles Carter Thomson; and his stepgrandparents, Clyde W. Hanner, II, Marilyn Hanner, Bonnie Lucas, Hanson Menefee, Harry A. Austin, III and Nancy Austin. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, a nephew, and cousins.
