We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2022, at the age of 89, Ellen Louise Dixon Truslow Southers (Gordonsville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula Dixon and Hallah Dixon; her husbands, Kenneth Truslow and Jake Southers; and her brothers, Jack Barker and Johnny Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Jewell (Terry), Gregory Truslow (Michelle), Brian Truslow (Marianne) and Alan Truslow (Stacie); and her sister Cornelia Wills (Nea). She is also survived by Grandchildren, eleven Great-Grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
The family is forever grateful to the loving and caring staff of the Laurels as they provided essential and irreplaceable care each day and night for over 3 years, especially within the challenging years dealing within Covid.
