He was predeceased by: his sister Linda L. Spain. He is survived by: his wife Catherina Rogoll Sprouse; his children, Rebekah Kelsie Souther (Ashley) of Chesapeake, Emily G. Sprouse of Louisa and David James Sprouse of Madison Run; his siblings, Roger Lee Sprouse (Zee) of Louisa and Sandra S. Atkins (Dwight) of Gordonsville; and his grandchildren, Reese Souther of Chesapeake, Bodhi Souther of Chesapeake and Blair Stanley of Louisa.
