It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Marie Lanford (Gordonsville, Virginia), born in Louisa, Virginia, who passed away on May 1, 2018, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Coleman Lanford and Reuben Coleman Lanford, Sr.; her siblings, Morton Lanford and Sarah Lanford; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Baker and Brenda Ryan Lanford.
She is survived by: her siblings, Louise Workman of Louisa, Susan Baker of Orange, Henry Lanford, Samuel Lanford and Reuben Lanford, Jr.; her wife Edith; her sister-in-law Millie Lanford of Gordonsville; her significant other Janet Edwards; and also, Barbara Swane (Gerry) of Louisa and Sadie Nicklow (Gerald) of Olive Hill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
