He was predeceased by: his parents, George Daniel "Sam" Yancey and Alice Reva Powell Yancey; and his son Anthony E. Yancey. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Yancey (Tucker Hall) of Richmond and Jonathan Daniel Yancey (Amy) of Chesterfield; his grandson Aidan Yancey; and his siblings, George Yancey (Phyllis) of Gordonsville and Glenna Yancey (Obed Torres) of Gordonsville. He is also survived by niece; and three nephews.
