He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Tilman Wood and Irene Herring Wood; his wife Robin Snow Wood; his children, Brandy Nicole Wood and Curtis Jameson "Jamie" Wood; and his siblings-in-law, Billy Blackwell and Lori Collier.
He is survived by: his daughter Gina Newman of Gordonsville; his siblings, David Wood (Wanda) of Free Union, Keith Wood (Pam) of Dyke and Debbie Blackwell of Free Union; his sister-in-law Trudy Wyant (Timmy) of White Hall; his grandsons, Lucien Newman and Kaleb Jenkins; and his nieces and nephews, James Wyant, Angie Britton and Buffy Blackwell. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to his daughter to assist with final expenses.
