He was predeceased by: his parents, Darris Earl and Susan Caroline Jarvis; his siblings, Marshall Kelly, Jackie Camden, Earl Jarvis, Mary Jane Emore and Nancy Lee Kerr; and his son-in-law Scott Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Jarvis; his children, Renee Jarvis, Fonda Childress (Daniel Childress), Kathy Jarvis and Scott Jarvis (Tammy Jarvis); his sister-in-law Estelle Kelley; and his pet Julius. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
