He was predeceased by: his sisters, Mae Richards and June Clasbey. He is survived by: his son Duane; his daughter-in-law Robin; his brother Dan; his sister-in-law Joyce; his stepdaughter Victoria Drumheller; and his friends, Mark Boothe and Chris Poff. He is also survived by step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House charities of Southwest Virginia.
