He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Edwin Wheeler, Jr. (Kimberly) and Michael Lynn Wheeler (Dana); his grandsons, Kenny Wayne Wheeler (Tasha) and Travis Lynn Wheeler (Piper); his stepgrandchildren, Jason Fitzgerald, Dustin Brinkley and Nikki Martin; and his great grandchildren, Renee, Tyler, Landon, Sam, Alanis, Luna, Brianna, Alexander, Eleanor, June, Daisey, Vera, Floyd and Laken.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Burch-Messier Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church (1861 Jordantown Rd, Thaxton, VA 24174).
