He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hackworth and Beatrice Hackworth. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Terrie Bowser (David), Cindy Moran (Tim) and John Jr. (Karla); his grandchildren, Laura, Matt Bowser, Emery Driver, Jordan, Timothy, Hannah, Spencer, McKenzie Moran, Abigail Hackworth Mooney, Maggie and Jake Hackworth; and his great grandchild Juliette.
