He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lawrence and Adelia Riffenburg Lawson; and his siblings, Larry Lawson (Amy) and Sandy Russell. He is survived by: his wife Diane Lynn Gregory Lawson; his children, Peggy Lawson Bauer (Robert), James Eugene "Luke" Lawson, Jr. (Patty) and Lisa Ann "Boo" Toscano (Chris Erwin); his grandchildren, David Bauer (Brittany), Lucas Bauer (Jamie), Brittany Buckins (Nick), Alyssa Lawson, Katie Caldwell (Donald), Tate, Brody Bauer, Brantley, Brielle Bauer, Avery, Aliva Buckins and Emma Grace Caldwell; and his sisters, Gloria Parry, Joyce Rodebaugh, Nancy Heim and Peggy Frankenberger (Denny).
