He was predeceased by: his grandmother Madelyn Reynolds. He is survived by: his wife Brooke Gibson; his parents, Dawn Eanes and David "Herbie" Eanes; his parents-in-law, Tommy and Denise Jones; his siblings, Dylan, Jayson Eanes, Brandon, Derrick Gibson, Holly and Jessica Gibson; his grandparents, Kathy and Gary Cole; his brothers-in-law, Derek Jones and Kyle Jones (Danielle); his cousin Carrie; his great-grandparent Carolyn Nichols; his cousins, Nicky Bowyer, Shanna Clark, Nick Mayhew and Casey Young; and his aunts, Vicky Bowyer, Lew Anne Mayhew (Billy) and Sherry Young (Joe).
The family would like to especially thank The Aware Foundation, Kim Martin with the Missing Pieces Network, National Park Service and hundreds of hikers, kayakers, friends, coworkers, family members and complete strangers who provided nourishment, donations and their time searching for Brent.
