He was predeceased by: his wife Tressa Edwards; his parents, Robert Edwards and Virginia Edwards; his sister Sandra Johnson (Gravely); and his grandson Michael Waters.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Ohanian (Mike), Julie Karnes (Patrick) and Teena Fields (Benjamin); his stepdaughters, Elesha Moore and Kisha Smith; and his brother Roger Edwards.
