He is survived by: his children, Gregory Whalen (Joyce), Ernest Whalen (Carolyn), Theodore Whalen (Sarah), Shona Witt (Dennis), Yvette Seamster (Allen Weese), Peter Whalen (Irene) and Jason Whalen; and his daughter-in-law Kim Whalen. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
