It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Bigelow Leslie (Goode, Virginia), born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on August 23, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Folger Bigelow and Ruth Smith Bigelow; and her former husband Richard Dashiell Newcomb. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Augustus Leslie; her son Rick Newcomb (Cher); her granddaughter Andi of Atlanta, GA; her daughter Teri Osborne (David); her grandson Felix of Montreal; her stepdaughter Jenny Beck (Kevin); her granddaughters, Lauren, Michelle and Grace of Hagerstown, MD; her stepdaughter Kathleen Palmer (George); her grandchildren, Dylan and Avery; and her stepson Mark Leslie of Dallas, TX.. She is also survived by partners, close church friends.
Her family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church, 5810 Fort Avenue, Lynchburg VA 24502.
