He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Gray Goad and Archie Webb Gray; his daughter Janet Renee Gray; his sisters, Janet Gray and Patricia Carr; and his brother-in-law Joseph "J. C.".
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Faith Howard (Jonathan) and Billy Gray Jr.; his stepsons, Michael Dann (Laurey) and Archie Dann (Diana); and his siblings, Barbara Durrette, Donald Gray, David Gray Sr., Wayne Gray and Chris Goad. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He also enjoyed playing golf – especially with his friends in charity golf tournaments – fishing and deer hunting.Billy was well known for his cooking prowess.
