He was predeceased by: his parents, Dabney H. Bowles and Arlene Butler Bowles. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Compton Bowles; his daughters, Wendy Bowles Taylor (Scott) and Debbie Bowles Chadwick (Brian); and his grandsons, Josh and Ben Chadwick.
