He was predeceased by: his sister Lillian Armstrong. He is survived by: his sisters, Bernice Boswell, Hilda Harper and Betty Dunivan; his children, Linda Lee (Donnie), Judy Amos, Danny Amos (Debbie) and Kathy Grubbs (Franklin); and his grandchildren, Tammy, Josh, Matt, Brad and Jordan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Perkins Baptist Church.
