William Booth Walker Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Booth Walker of Gloucester, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William Booth leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Thornton and Dorothy Booth Walker; and his brother Elmer Walker, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Heather Peterson (Mike); his grandson Pace; his daughter Karen Baumgartner (Jay); his grandchildren, Victoria, Haleigh and Matthew; and his pet Carley.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Warwick Yacht Club (400 Maxwell Ln, Newport News, VA 23606).
