She was predeceased by: her parents, Mern Newcombe and Mattie Newcombe of Alberene; her husband Billy Horton; and her son Billy Horton, Jr.. She is survived by: her great grandchild Andrew Harrell; her daughters, Sheron Gale Nelms (David) and Wandakia Piland; and her sister Irene Stargell (Milton). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
