He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Brown and Pauline Brown; and his sons, Joseph S. Brown, IV and Michael V. Brown (Karen). He is survived by: his wife Ann G. Brown; his sister Paula Demosthenes (John); his son Lawrence A. Brown (Milagros); his stepdaughters, Amy Chandler (Patrick) and Caroline Bristol (James); and his grandchildren, Jacque Moffett (Micah), Daniel Brown, Olivia Brown, Lauren Brown, Ryan Brown, Sarah Palos (Nico) and Rachel Butler (Patrick).
