She was predeceased by: her former husband Robert Franklin Sydnor Sr. of King. She is survived by: her children, Charles Balfour Howard III of Dutton, VA. and Stacy Marie Engelson (Craig) of Navarre, FL.; her grandchildren, Christian Taylor Howard of Williamsburg, VA., Julian Thomas Howard of Dutton, VA., Breianna Marie Engelson of Orlando, FL. and Nicole Renee Engelson of Navarre, FL.; her brothers, Floyd Lee Lewis (Beatrice) of Richmond, VA. and Woodrow Wilson Carter, Jr. of Richmond, VA.; and her stepchildren, Sandra Kaye Houseman (Steve) of Chesapeake, VA., Robert Franklin Sydnor Jr. (Janet) of York, PA., Janice Marie Waltz (Tom) of Yorktown, VA. and Patricia Carrillo (Henry) of Riverside, CA.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
